When installing UNIX on a disk with more than 1024 cyls, make sure that 
unix is in the last partition.  For your disk you should use:

		dos	  0 to	 322
		unix	323 to	1223

Or if you really wanted 2 dos partitions,

		dos	  0 to	 123
		dos	124 to 	 322
		unix	323 to	1223
