I have successfully built a COFF version of gcc under Xenix using Xenix gcc (OMF) as the initial compiler (not for gnulib - compiled those to asm on a Sun386i). I've also successfully used gld, gas and gdb to debug COFF executables. The system is somewhat restricted since I don't have an absoultely complete COFF library set (I used the MINIX library sources and the system call stuff in gas from a guy in Finland). The patches for Xenix gcc/gas/gdb are not that large. They were posted to alt.sources some time back. Hope this helps, Glenn glenn@extro.ucc.su.oz.au -- Glenn Geers | "So when it's over, we're back to people.
