I wanted to let them have a little competition so I thought using some corewars-like game would be fun. The only thing I have been able to find so far is a curses implementation of corewars. Is there anyone out there who knows of an X11 implementation of corewars? It would be a big help, any pointers at all. If not, I'm going to take a crack out it myself with the existing code I have. Any help or pointers in that regard would be welcome too. Finally, if you have any better ideas on a good "game" that would have some programming aspects to it that is visual for kids, please make me a suggestion, I'm all ears! Please reply by email, I'll summarize if there is any interest. Thanks much. >>>bill punch<<< punch@cpswh.cps.msu.edu
