Is there any work going on to integrate real-time video
in X?  I have heard of VEX - is this becoming the X video
standard?

Also, is anyone working on integrating music/sound(including
speech) with the X protocol for output or speech as an input
device (I realize that this would pose some HW requirements
on the server)?
