I'm a *user*, not a developer. After using motif on MIT's Project Athena, I've gotten used to having new windows come up as a 'rubber band' with a small display of it's size and position. I can then decide where I want to put the window. However, I've just installed Open Windows (1.0.1) on a Sun 386i and now new windows come up in the upper left corner of the screen. I think I've read through TFM's pretty carefully, but I can't seem to find a way to get them to act the same way as with motif. Any help would be appreciated. If there's any significant interest, I'll post a summary. Thanks, Mike Wargo preferred -----> michael@agricola.mit.edu mjwargo@athena.mit.edu
