Message-ID: <9007032010.AA05430@maui.coral.com> Date: 3 Jul 90 20:10:45 GMT Sender: daemon@athena.mit.edu (Mr Background) Organization: The Internet Lines: 33 I would like to make a scrolling window which moves the large window around so various parts of it are exposed. My problem is that I can't move the large window. When I set the x and y resources, nothing happens. The widget hierarchy is XmForm XmScrollingWindow XmScrollBar XmScrollBar XmDrawingArea <--- this one won't move or: XmForm XmForm XmScrollBar XmScrollBar XmDrawingArea --this is fixed size "viewport" XmDrawingArea <-- won't move Note that I have to set the x and y to NEGATIVE values to view the middle of the large window. Is this illegal in Motif? Config: Motif 1.0, MIT X11r4, Sun SS1 SunOS 4.0.3c Coral * ** Tom Tulinsky 508 460-6010 * ** Coral Network Corporation fax 508 481-6258 * ** 734 Forest St net: tomt@coral.com *** Marlboro, MA 01752 ** ********* NETWORKS
