I have a single program connecting to several servers so that the
users can interact with each other on separate screens (a la
"scrawl").  However, the Motif widgets do not function well in this
configuration.  For example, only one user can activate a pulldownmenu
(and many other Motif widgets) at a time.

I'm using XtOpenDisplay and XtAppCreateShell to create separate
toplevel widgets.  Afterward, XtAppPending, XtAppNextEvent, and
XtDispatchEvent are called.  Am I doing something wrong?  If not, are
there solutions to this problem?  Will Motif 1.1 fix this?
