I have used 20 pound typing paper weight continuous form in my Versa Point BP1B with much success, and it is a lot cheaper way to get a printout of something that you aren't going to be doing a lot of heavy reading of, etc. The Braille Blazer from Blazie Engineering is also very good Braille with regular computer printer paper. As far as Braille paper you may want to check out a company named Metrolina. I have baught a lot of Braille paper from them in both the narrow and wide widths. Their paper quality is very good, and their prices aren't to bad.
