        Since you have ventura, perhaps you might want to consider 
freelance page layout/Graphic design?  It seems to be an up and coming 
field and all it really requires is a good page layout program and 
a good sense of what looks good.

        Page layout is what I'm doing now for a living.  I use a Macintosh 
with Pagemaker 4.0 and Word 4.0.  You would be amazed as to what you 
can make with these two packages.
