The GP-Echo synthesizer is not made any more. I had a specail serial cable made for it base on the specs in the manual that came with it. There is also an addemdum sheet that came with it showin the eight switch settins. I want it to run at 9600 baud. The switches when toward the front of the unit is then ON. Switch one is startin from the left going right. Switches one, two, and three are on. Switch four is off. Switch five is on. Switches six and seven are on. Switch 8 is off which means serial. This does not work and I have tried all other possibilities. Any ideas what I'm doing wrong.
