John Shriver was asking about stylus suspension fatigue.  In my experience
most cartridges do this.  That is, distortion rises and tracking deteriorates
before the diamond appears to be shot.  In some cases it is more dramatic
than others, but seems generally true.  I have not found a remedy.  My Shure
is not yet old enough for me to know if it will do better.
