In the first place, I believe it is wrong to try to take something out of the public library because you believe it to be heretical. In the second place, I think they would have small chance of success, and the attempt would hurt the image of Islam in American eyes much more than any heretical text could. Putting alternative texts in the library is very good idea (libraries could definitely use a better selection of books about Islam), but removing books isn't. Lynn Gazis-Sax
