(I don't know whether this is the right group for this question, but I
can't think of a better one...)

At an international seminar in Latvia I met a researcher from Moscow
in the field of ``AI'' & Education, who asked me whether I knew of
any possibilities of working in the USA in a kind of post-PhD research
position. I didn't, but maybe somebody out there knows?!
Apparantly a friend of his did find such a position in a completely
different field (I think it was physics).
If anybody does, please let me know.
