A significant amount of literature deals with applications in Process Control. Recently, researchers have tried to model dynamic systems (with limited success) and explored Hopfield nets for batch scheduling problems. Recent AI Expert issue (June '90) cites a successful application at a Philips Petroleum plant in Texas. I have included a list of references to a few recent publications below. The list is by no means exhaustive and those interested will find references to earlier literature in the bibliographies of these publications. Reference # 4 does not cite the exact title.
