Does anyone know about possible problems that I will get doing this? I already know about the problems involving the 16 bit word-length of the 8088. Any help on this subject would be highly appreciated. Thanks in advance, Johan Thole. -- Johan Thole -- Ascom Tech AG -- Ziegelmattstr. 1-15 email: thole@ascom.uucp CH-4503 Solothurn tel: +41 (65) 243228 Switzerland [Different byte order, different register set, and segmented addressing also leap to mind. It's a considerable amount of work. -John] -- Send compilers articles to compilers@esegue.segue.boston.ma.us {spdcc | ima | lotus| world}!esegue. Meta-mail to compilers-request@esegue.
