Keywords: C++ course recommendations materials Message-ID: <10529@batcomputer.tn.cornell.edu> Date: 11 Jul 90 21:14:16 GMT Distribution: comp Organization: Cornell National Supercomputer Facility Lines: 18 I am planning to give a C++ course to some of the C programmers here. I am thinking of something along the lines of 8 to 12 sessions of one and one-half hours each. My goal is to introduce object-oriented programming, classes, inheritance, and polymorphism, as well as detail the differences between C and C++. Is there anyone who has taught C++ to experienced programmers who would be willing to send me any of the materials you used to give your class? I would also appreciate hearing of your experiences, especially regarding things which students find especially difficult to grasp. -- Mike Lijewski (H)607/277-0394 (W)607/255-0539 Cornell National Supercomputer Facility ARPA: mjlx@.eagle.cnsf.cornell.edu BITNET: mjlx@cornellf.bitnet SMAIL: 1122 Ellis Hollow Rd.
