Have you tried  Joe.Bloggs@fA.nB.zC.fidonet.org  where A B and C are the
numbers in the Fido Address in reverse order.  Eg I am at 5:494/4 and my
internet equivalent is Pat.Terry@f4.n494.z5.fidonet.org
