I think it feeds a DEC "ALL-IN-ONE" system, that requires strange addressing. The problem is mail has to be addressed as machine!lastname,firstname. As you can imagine, the comma between lastname and firstname causes elm to fail; producing 'firstname' "is an unknown address ...." failure. My question is: has anyone modified the elm source to allow commas in the USER field of addresses? I have looked at the source code and it looks like it would not be easy to do. -- David G.
