Ehrlich) Newsgroups: comp.mail.misc,comp.mail.sendmail,comp.mail.uucp,news.admin,news.misc,news.sysadmin Subject: Full spool disk on psuvax1.cs.psu.edu caused mail/news lossage Summary: Opps. Sorry about that chief. Message-ID: Date: 5 Jul 90 14:44:43 GMT Sender: news@cs.psu.edu (Usenet) Organization: Computer Science Department, Penn State University Lines: 12 It seems that our mail/news machine (aka psuvax1) dropped a significant amount of stuff, > 2000 pieces of mail and/or news, on the floor starting last Thurday night (6/28) through Friday morning (6/29) due to a full spool disk. We have no way of identifying what got dropped just that it did get dropped. It is suggested that you consider resending any mail/news that may have passed through here during this time after trying to confirm that it did indeed get lost. We would like to appologize for any inconvienence this has caused. -- Dan Ehrlich /Voice: +1 814 863 1142/FAX: +1 814 865 3176
