Do you have any UUCP neighbors? Are they in the maps? If so, every site running "pathalias" is going to want to tunnel UUCP paths through the internet to you. UUCP-only sites don't have the ability to make use of MX records. Which, by the way, can produce stunningly poor results... for example, going by the DNS mail to ferranti.com will be sent via uunet. So I get mail sent from Rice University, not 20 miles (and 2 hops) away, sent via Virginia, which I guess is about 2000 miles away. -- Peter da Silva. `-_-' +1 713 274 5180.
