He left the company he founded after tiring of the day-to-day business decisions of a firmly entrenched company. Kapor now works on his new company, On Technology(ies?). The head honcho at Lotus now is Jim Manzi, whose business experience Kapor sought in starting up Lotus. If you want to point fingers, point them at Mr Manzi.
