Contact person is Bill Yeager, e-mail address yeager@sumex-aim.stanford.edu. It uses the IMAP protocol (RFC-1064) to access mail with a Unix system as the central mail agent. It's a neat package! Unlike most POP-based systems it scales well for large mailboxes and on lower-speed networks (e.g. cross-country or international). Of course, it also works quite well on high-speed networks. One of the best features is a unique message searching capability.
