Also there is some information in /pc/ts/tspfon29.arc. Furthermore, at the Unix end of things use sz -bey for binary files and sz -aey for text files. The system should work. I have tested it succesfully many times using 7 bits even parity in a similar (almost the same) environment, that is between a Sun 4 and a PC.
