     The manual for my Star NX-1000 Rainbow claims the thing can achieve
240x216 resolution in "quad-density mode." Delving a little deeper into the
manual, it became apparent I'd have to write my own driver for it if there
isn't one available already (the Epson JX-80 driver works just fine, but
doesn't support quad-density mode, as far as I can tell). Is there a driver
available, or am I going to have to do this the hard way?
