The "more correct" version of the From_ line is to use: From .! blah remote from This gets transformed into !.! at the receiving site. Dumb UUCP "bang" routers are happy, since they just look at the leading for routing, and smart routers are happy, since the full domain name is present for them to optimize. -- -- J.
