I don't understand how it can be a better situation to have to subscribe to BIX to get the 5.0x upgrade if there is another one or, when 6.0 comes out, to get the 6.0x upgrade(s). The prefered method (IMHO) for getting interim bugfix-type upgrades is from a BBS because it's faster (obviously) than waiting for the mail service (and if you think you've got snail mail in the U.S., try getting something from the U.S. into Canada!). Getting them this way has saved me a lot of time when, in the middle of development, I find some function that doesn't work the way it should and don't have the time (or knowledge) to write it myself.
