This doesn't seem to work. If you absolutely must use r3, you have to go to an older xrn (6.5?). I'm using xrn 6.7 with r4, and this combination works fine, even with the r3 server. I'm in the process of making shared -inlib r4 libraries which I will make available for anon ftp when I'm finished.
