This nice feature of Domain/OS makes much more sense for a closely networked group of machines. If you have any contact with the people working on OSF's implementation, please pass this on. I *HATE* having to use NFS where my current machine's rc.local file is /etc/rc.local, but every other machine's file is /othermachine/etc/rc.local.
