I have the same problem. If I try to disk copy [with DigiCopy GS], INSTALL, or file copy [with the Finder] the SYSTEM DISK to /ram5 and then set the boot disk to the RAMDISK, and try to boot, it will give an error $0028 and it's something like unable to read boot volume name. Could someone PLEASE tell us why this is happening and how to fix it? It is MIGHTY useful to be able to boot from RAM.. This has been true since System Disk 5.. I think that's when it started..
