I recently purchased a Seagate 296n & the new Apple DMA SCSI card.  I've done
all the formatting in the world <a little hyperbole never hurt anyone> yet I
can't get GS/OS to recognize more than one partition after a restart/reboot.
ProDOS 8 recognizes 2 32Mb volumes <even after a reboot> but as soo as I go to
the finder, it's all gone.   <grrr>
I've even gone so far as to use it on a Mac SE and it works *fine*.
Is there something I should know about GS/OS?  I've installed the drivers and
such with the disk that came with the SCSI card. <the old drivers won't
recognize the new card>  BTW, this HD did the same thing on another friends
machine with an older model Apple SCSI card, same result.
System specs:
standard "Woz" GS
Datalink 2400      <slot 2>
Apple DMA SCSI card<slot 6>
RAMKeeper          <mem slot>
GS RAM+ (w/6Mb)    <front of RAMkeeper>
oh yeah, don't forget the Apple 3.5 drive on the smartport...:)
