Message-ID: <9007111711.AA21928@apple.com> Date: 10 Jul 90 22:06:29 GMT Sender: daemon@ucbvax.BERKELEY.EDU Organization: The Internet Lines: 27 I recently purchased a Seagate 296n & the new Apple DMA SCSI card. I've done all the formatting in the world yet I can't get GS/OS to recognize more than one partition after a restart/reboot. ProDOS 8 recognizes 2 32Mb volumes but as soo as I go to the finder, it's all gone. I've even gone so far as to use it on a Mac SE and it works *fine*. Is there something I should know about GS/OS? I've installed the drivers and such with the disk that came with the SCSI card. BTW, this HD did the same thing on another friends machine with an older model Apple SCSI card, same result. System specs: standard "Woz" GS Datalink 2400 Apple DMA SCSI card RAMKeeper GS RAM+ (w/6Mb) oh yeah, don't forget the Apple 3.5 drive on the smartport...:) Argh...
