Are there >any compatibility problems between a 1040 and a 1meg 520? I've been using such a system for about 2 years (gosh thinking about it its probably longer - doesn't time fly) with a fairly large range of software (both games and applications) and I haven't had any problems. The 1040 and the 520 both use the same boards, so if your upgrade is of the 'buy the bits yourself and plug them in' form there is no difference at all. I don't know about the various 'solderless upgrades' but I would suspect there to be no problem "What makes you think I care?" - Batman, Legends Of The Dark Knight Kevin O'Donovan ABADDON @ UK.AC.LIVERPOOL.IBM KEBAB%CIX.UUCP @ UK.AC.UCP
