Message-ID: <81918@tut.cis.ohio-state.edu> Date: 5 Jul 90 23:30:45 GMT Organization: Ohio State Univ Computer & Info Science Lines: 12 When operating in 386 enhanced mode, does Windows 3.0 load all character-based DOS applications above the 640k memory? The sources I've read seem to indicate it but they don't say it in a direct enough fashion to make me feel safe. I have a situation where a 386 machine is going to be loaded down with network drivers and TSRs leaving little room 640k and below for applications. -- Norm Pritchett, The Ohio State University College of Engineering Network Internet: pritchett@eng.ohio-state.edu BITNET: TS1703 at OHSTVMA UUCP: pritch@sydney.columbus.oh.us CCNET: ENG::PRITCHETT (6172::PRITCHETT)
