PC-Lock modifies the partition table on the hard drive, and so DOS doesn't recognize it anymore. As part of the boot process, PC-Lock magically reveals the drive to DOS. No problem. Norton's Disk Doctor program will automatically fix the partition table and allow access to the drive again. You will then have to reinstall PC-Lock, since NDD disables it completely. Of course, after you do this everyone you're trying to protect the machine from will know they can unlock it with NDD... ---------------------------------------------------------- Gordon S.
