Yes, LJIII Postscript output does differ from LW for TI output. It looks
a lot sharper, even under a lupe. The "Resolution Enhancement" is actually
done using the video signal before it's sent to the marking engine, not in
the "rasterizer". This means that you will also see enhanced bitmap output.

There is a custom chip that processes every 24 lines of the raster and does
it's magic. I was very skeptical about it at first, but in 95% of my output,
the end result is excellent.

I've been using a LJIII w/Adobe PS Cart for about two months, I just added
the LocalTalk option. At a little under $3000 for the whole mess, I'm very
happy with it.
