Do you need the emacs sources? There is a version of emacs, microemacs (usually written uemacs) for the IBM PC. The most recent version I have seen is uemacs 3.10. It was posted in comp.binaries.ibm.pc, and is available at any comp.binaries.ibm.pc archive. (Volume 2, articles 73-83.) Typically, you will just find a binary, but I have seen sources at some locations. Comp.binaries.ibm.pc archives that I know of include: wuarchive.wustl.edu [128.252.135.4] (These have it -- an excellent archive) They will be in the subdirectory usenet/comp.binaries.ibm.pc/volume2/uemacs. trwind.trw.com [129.4.16.70] (These may be gone?) For those in Europe, try: (Do not access these from states -- it is an expensive connection.) hydra.helsinki.fi [128.214.4.29] tau.sm.luth.se [130.240.0.3] -- Kenneth B.
