Not everybody out there can be using DOS! I hope... Byte did a spread on 386 BOXES running Unix a while back, and I've seen Toshibas running SCO, but so far these seem to be done for shows, and I haven't talked to any people doing it for real. I suppose we are mostly waiting for the next generation of true-386 laptops with the new TI chip set, zippy portable perhiperals, etc., that are supposed to get a Unix-capable system into a notebook, with a cellular modem and all that. I am planning to buy within six months, and don't mind waiting for a new machine if its release is imminent. Gotta have batteries, though.
