I have a VMEbus based embedded control system that could use a facelift. I need information on the available or portability of OS9 (or other alternatives) for such systems. This system is basically a loosly coupled multiprocessor implementation with shared memory. How hard is it to write device drivers for boards? Context switch time? etc., etc. Thanks in advance for any info or pointers -- ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Steve email: Steve.McClure@Columbia.NCR.COM 803-791-7054 The above are my opinions, which NCR doesn't really care about anyway!
