Hi,

    I would like to know if there currently is a "hardware" solution
to putting a LaserJet II on an AppleTalk network (i.e. some kind
of cartridge or proven Shiva NetSerial-based solutions).

    I currently have a "software" solution that gives both Postscript
and Network capabilities to a LaserJet II (Teletypesetting's $145 TScript
software) by using a 68030 Mac with LOTS of RAM as a printer server.  This
solution works, but it involves A LOT of overhead.

    Has anyone used an HP serial driver with a Shiva NetSerial????

    Would a Mac II with TScript and one of those NuBus Parallel cards
be a better solution?????

    Are HP planning to produce an ATalk/Postscript cart. similar to the
optional LaserJet III ones, but for the LaserJet II (not the IIP) ?
