I currently have a "software" solution that gives both Postscript and Network capabilities to a LaserJet II (Teletypesetting's $145 TScript software) by using a 68030 Mac with LOTS of RAM as a printer server. This solution works, but it involves A LOT of overhead. Has anyone used an HP serial driver with a Shiva NetSerial???? Would a Mac II with TScript and one of those NuBus Parallel cards be a better solution????? Are HP planning to produce an ATalk/Postscript cart. similar to the optional LaserJet III ones, but for the LaserJet II (not the IIP) ? -- +--------------------------------------------------------------------+ | Pascal Gosselin | Internet: pascal@altitude.CAM.ORG | | Gest-Mac Inc.
