Ciholas) Organization: CEDAR Technologies Lines: 16 Here is a cdev that (supposedly) switches the IIfx serial ports so that they are compatible with earlier Macs. Since I don't have a IIfx (hah!) and the cdev doesn't work on my computer (expected on a plus), I am asking for anybody out there who has a SID or MacRecorder to try it and see if does allow the digitizers to work. If it does work, then I will have established compatibility for the SID on all Macs, with the exception of the 128K (every try to find one of those today?). Mike Ciholas (look in the file info-mac/sound/program/sid-ii.hqx for info on the SID. The file is on sumex-aim.stanford.edu and avialable via anonymous ftp. Email me if you can't get it there, and I can sedn the file directly to you). mikec@ai.mit.edu
