I know it's possible to get commercial products to do this, but does anyone
know how easy it is to interface an EPSON LQ-800 type printer (24-pin) to
a Mac? A cables hard to make up? Are there any PD drivers? Or is it not
worth the effort / better to just go for one of the commercial products?

What of HP(GL) Plotters? Same questions.

Any thoughts/ideas/experience welcome.
