I don't think you can paste color text from other applications unless it is converted to graphics format and imported as a graphic resource. Otherwise, use the SuperCard 1.5 way of making color text: Select the text and in SuperEdit, popup the color palette from the lower, left corner color box and select the foreground color and in SuperCard, open the colors floating palette and click on the color of your choice.
