I am supervising a student who is working on
Mandarin tone. He is writing his thesis on the
Macintosh using Word 4.x and would like to be able
to annotate his examples with Chinese characters.
Could someone direct me to a Macintosh application
which can construct Chinese characters which can then
be copied as graphics and pasted into a Word document?

We have tried an application from Wu Corporation (FeiMa)
which has been unsatisfactory. As a port from the DOS
world, it does not support copy/paste or screen shots.
