Subject: Possible Hardware Problem on My MacII

When I tried to start up my MacII today, instead of getting
the familiar little ditty that it plays, I got about a
2 second sonata and the screen remained dark.  This has
occurred a few times in the past week and each time I would
just try restarting the machine.  This strategy worked until
today.  Can anyone suggest what the problem might be, what
my next step should be, etc?
