Try anonymous ftp to madhaus.utcs.utoronto.ca.  There is a socket 
implementation in /pub/mac.sockets.sit.hqx.  I have not used it, just noticed it when grabbing their SMTP to QuickMail gateway (I have not installed that 
either, yet).
