Lines: 22 I have a couple of questions about changing the behavior of a macintosh keyboard. In the early days there was a utility that remapped the normal keyboard keys to a Dvorak keyboard and I think one of the even more efficient layouts. Does such a thing already exist for the modern Macs (in particular tthe MacIIcx)? If not where can I find a description of these mappings? Someone at my site would like to switch the functions for the shift and control keys on an ADB Extended Keyboard. He is used to Suns and is forced to use a mac as a terminal for a short while and would rather not confuse his keyboard circuits. I realize that this is horribly against the user interface guidelines, but I'd like to do it anyway. What are my options? As far as I can tell the KMAP an KCHR resources are useless for this. I've never written an event patch, and I hope I don't have to write a new driver. Any suggestions or code would be most welcome.
