Since we partially use X-Terminals there is a hard requirement for the software to run several invocations in parallel on server machines (e.g. SparcServer 370, Sun4/260, DecSystem 5400). Experiences with any WYSIWYG-DTP-SW (this excludes TeX) in such an environment are highly appreciated (Licence conditions for mixed hardware/multiple users per host/floating licences in a LAN, resource requirements, software-quality etc.). If you know about conversion utilities from/to Interleaf TPS, MS-Word/Mac Draw, and TeX please mention them. Franz P.S. Please reply by email, I'll summarize to the net. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Franz Haberhauer Institute for Parallel and Distributed High-Performance-Systems (IPVR) University of Stuttgart Azenbergstr. 12 D-7000 Stuttgart 1 haberhauer@informatik.uni-stuttgart.de West Germany ----------------------------------------------------------------------
