Does anyone know a way to change  the auditory "beep" into a visual
beep?  Or even better, into a quick flash of the screen?  I have a
easy way to do this on my PC but not my unix account, and trying to
figure out why the computer isn't doing what I told it to (when I
screw up) is driving me nuts!

Any suggestions appreciated, but please reply via email.
