Message-ID: <24889.269843ba@kuhub.cc.ukans.edu> Date: 9 Jul 90 13:43:38 GMT Organization: University of Kansas Academic Computing Services Lines: 15 Hi Friends: I posted a message to ask comments about SCO UNIX. Ninety percents of respones were negative. I don't want to do summerization here because of some reasons but I thank all of respones. Among those respones, some suggested INTERACTIVE UNIX. This UNIX is also new for me. I only read an article from "UNIX Today" about the impression of system package installation. I still don't know much details about the INTERACTIVE UNIX. What I most concern are the technical supports, compatibilities with System V and BSD socket system, the performance, and the capability of running TCP/IP, NFS, and X-Window system. Are someone out there have any experience with the INTERACTIVE UNIX? I wellcome comments from them. Thanks in advance. Again I would be better not to do summerization on the comments. Please excuse me. Jian Q. Li jian@kuhub.cc.ukans.edu
