I have been having great difficulty in configuring this beast. I am currently using the settings from the LA75 configured via lprsetup. But I have been having problems. When I print any text file, most of the file will print (sometimes), but the last part will not. But, if I wait three to four minutes, the rest of the file will sometimes print out. I have tried changing the fs and xs flags in the printcap entry, but that doesn't seem to work. I would really like to be able to print my .dvi files (using Beebe's dvieps, dvie72 or a hacked dvitos drivers. FYI, this is a 24 pin printer with a wide carriage. I am currently using 8.5 x 11 paper, but I want to put in the wide stuff which has a tear off at 8.5 inches. Any help or pointers to archives of printcap entries would be appreciated. This printer is hooked up the /dev/tty00 on a DECsystem 3100. -- Charley Kneifel (kneifel@bnlux0.bnl.gov)
