    I would like to see "politcally correct" X11 support for printer ports on
    X windows terminals.

Sorry, I believe the politically correct support is that which has nothing
whatsoever to do with the X protocol.  I've flamed at X terminal vendors
privately in the past to avoid using an X extension, it's good if they're
agreeing with me. :-)
